Bringing Architecture Closer To You / 2020
A, B, C – Bringing Architecture Closer To You is a project delivered by the Tychy City Museum in conjunction with the Culture of Image Foundation. The collection of photographs from 1951–1989, presented on the website, allows users to explore the city and observe how it developed according to the architectural concepts, urban planning guidelines, and aesthetic trends of the time; how the buildings, landscaping, sculptures, and greenery have become significant elements of the urban landscape, including social landscape. It is also an invitation to explore the process of spatial development proceeds in time, how architecture shapes urban communities, and what information photography can provide.
